  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Adjusting Sag and Protection Suggestions

Gbarrato

Husqvarna
C Class
Hi all, neeed some help with my 04 TE 250

Adjusting the Sag.. Can anybody tell be how to do this? I know how to take the measurements but not sure what tools I should use and how to do it.

Also for protection:

I think I'm going with the:

OFG Radiator Braces
Uptite or 7280 Air Filter Carb Vents
Motosportz Mid pipe Guard

Do people recommend a:
Clutch Case Cover (if so which one)
Case Saver (if so which one)
Or anything else that is a MUST HAVE....

Thanks

Setting the sag is in the manual. If you dont have a manual you can google one quickly for download. You need a stand and a tape measure (I prefer metric as it is simpler for small increments for my head).

Rear brake lever side cover on that bike is thin- one over on the brake lever and it will punch a hole in the cover- 7602's is rhino tough and has an oil level sight glass.

Bash plate and Barkbusters are strongly advised.
I have a pipe guard and rear disc guard as well.

I think you might have meant 7602.

Gbarrato,

We make several of the items on your wish list but in my opinion the single most important item on your list is the carb filter. Whichever brand you choose you will be much better off with one on your bike than without one. Your engine will thank you.
