• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Just got my bike back from Bill's up in Salem. He MOSS'd it and added a booster plug, in addition to chasing down a few little issues. Wow...it's like a different machine! Seriously...it idles nicely, runs smoothly, accelerates quicker, has more grunt down low...I can actually take off from a dead stop without having to blip the throttle in order to make sure it doesn't cough!
It isn't by chance that my friends haven't ridden my bike yet. I was almost embarrassed to let them ride it because I didn't want to hear it. Now I will have no issue handing it off to whoever wants to ride it.

I was just walking home from the store and I saw Eric coming down the hill riding my Terra. He was taking it for a test ride after installing my ALTrider crash bars and BRMoto side racks.
He saw me on the flat part and hoisted up a monster wheelie and rode it to the end of the block.
I got a real good view of the bottom of my lovely MotoSportz skid plate

Eric's assessment of the bike now that it's running as it should have been straight from the factory? A huge  and some :):D and a little :applause: and some  with a lot of  thrown in.
He loves that bike and sometimes wonders if he wouldn't be happy riding one. Hmm...his and hers?

Solo ride to the Sierra last night to watch the Perseids meteor showers and see this morning's sunrise. Loving this machine!

Getting the impression you like how the bike runs now. :)

What is next on your list of things to get for your bike? That yellow looks good on your bike!

More time to ride it!

Looking forward to my rear rack and the Wolfman duffle. Grip heaters soon. I'm tired of waiting for the OEM ones and will probably go with the funky ones we use on the dirt bikes. I'd really like to open it up a bit and get some cans (or a single can) that breathes better and runs cooler.
Other than that I think I'm pretty set

There's a homemade mocha cake in the blue dry bag. It was still warm when I put the warm mocha frosting on it and loaded it up

Well done, any gizmo that takes the lean mixture to task is gold, as you and many others have found, Wukka, booster, accelerator, whatever, enjoy Woodsie.

HNG.
