• Husqvarna Motorcycles Made In Sweden - About 1988 and older

  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Any ideas what bike this engine came out of?

Mike,
I introduce myself as Timmy and have for years. I'm comfortable with it at my age of 55.
I thought we were all adults here.

Are you like 3 now. Isn't this is the second time now you've posted this cartoon? It must be your personal favorite.

I certainly wouldn't let others know if I watched 2 to 3 year old age group cartoons.
When thats all you got to say.
Without a doubt. Some people might think your'e a Sissy.

Not trying to offend anyone. Just having a bit of fun. Lighten up. You make posts calling folks out, then act offended when they hand it back to you. No sissy here, and you need to either grow up of lighten up. Your choice. I'm blocking you. You can do the same and it won't hurt my feelings.

Gee sorry Mike, I thought you were serious. So I lightened up and removed my posts that bothered you. No need to block anyone, I wouldn't bother to ever send a PM to you anyway.
TIMMY

That cylinder is more that likely a 500 2T .I am sure the 500 was LC by 1985. It is far too tall to be a 400 let alone a 250

Yupp.
85-86 500cc.
There is a number on the right side of the cylinder that you can check.

I ve checked both cylinders with lots of joy but no numbers..... need a tag reader probably....

enough! back to work...
