    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Arrow Twin Exhaust For SMS 630

I have the Arrow pipes on my Aussie TE630 & they are quite a bit louder than stock. Not so much when just idling, but definitely when riding. Its a deeper, more resonant sound that I don't find offensive, but would prefer it a little quieter.

I believe the kit came with a DB kiler, which wasn't fitted on mine, so not sure whether that may explain why some seem to be louder than others. I suspect, however, that it is more to do with personal perception of what is loud.

I am very pleased I fitted them as they really livened up the throttle response throughout the rev range, weigh much less and look great.
 
B*gger!! Mine didn´t come with any DB killers. Must have been that thieving posty that´s got hold of them.

Enclosed are the instructions and DB killers included in my kit but not fitted. I would have thought all kits would include these, regardless of the country. If you didn't fit your own pipes I wonder whether the DB killers were fitted by the dealer. That may explain why your bike seems to be quieter than others.

This is the missing link! The twin Arrow cans I got from my Husky dealer did NOT have the above pictured DB killers. My dealer said they heard from "Husqvarna in Italy" and that there was no spark arrestor or silencer insert for the TE630 twin Arrow slip-ons. I would have kept the twin Arrow/ ECU setup had I known the DB killers were available.

That's a shame, as they are great pipes. Either your dealer got it wrong or the DB killers were a later addition. My pipes were fitted approx 3-4 months ago and were sourced from the Aussie importer.

I completely agree that the twin Arrow pipes and ECU combo are a great set up. The "expert" in the parts department at my Husqvarna dealer in the U.S. was completely incompetent. He has since been fired and thankfully replaced with a very capable new guy. I ended up with a pair of Leo Vince slip-ons, a JD tuner and some store credit. Either set of pipes are top notch.

Since mine are just laying around, I wonder if they can be used for brewing tee ( straining it through them)
 
No ... I did it myself. And they definitely were not in the package. Nor were the instructions shown in your posting.
 
Not worried though .... they´d only reduce performance. My hearing´s impaired anyway since my Army days (LMG for hours on end ... deaf for days on end). As long as I´m ok with the local the Gestapo and the cans are stamped as street legal `tis all sunshine.

LMG brings back memorys:D,i got out and stayed and worked in Bad Oeynhausen, near Minden till 1989 then back to UK,good times there
