• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Baja Concepts & Terra/Strada

Hello
I have been checking diferents pics of the Husqvarna Baja Concepts and i have reached the conclusion that it's the same bike that ours.
Only plastics & little datails make the difference
The old owners of the husqvarna company could be generous and allow polysport to sell the plastics to transform the look of our bikes, otherwise this design will be lost like tears in the rain :)
. I supose that Polysport made those plastics
I love this look

Maybe if there were enough demand PolySport could produce them under a licensing agreement. The sale to KTM crates a third party tho and I doubt the three parties involved BMW, KTM. and PolySport would make time to reach an agreement on what would basically be a small run of many different parts.

I think it more likely that BMW may use some of these molds for a future model G650.

Its a shame this bike didn't make it, even in limited numbers. I put money on KTM doing something similar, maybe based on the 690 platform.

I was really hoping that the Baja/Moab/Whatever they were going to call it would have made it to production. I thought it was super cool.

Santi , no le ves un parecido enorme con la Matador de Bultaco la Mk5 creo. Tengo una amigo que tiene una restaurada y el look es gemelo.

Baja it looks very similar last MATADOR MK5 de Bultaco, that is so amazing.. In fact i like Terra because similar look with ancient MONTESA COTA 247.
