• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

TE/TC Believe it or not... fuel economy

Georgy

Husqvarna
B Class
One time is not yet statistics, however...

During the same ride throurg woods (slow) and then a beach (wide open) and then woods again, TE125 drunk 3.8 liters of gas. My TE300 drunk ... tadammmm... 2.8 liters, riding style of myself and my son on TE125 is not much different and speed too.
Last years it was visa verca. This winter TE300 got Lectron, RK Torqueline head and VForce 4
Installations of Lectron was a pain in the arse big time, adjusting the carb was not easy too, but the result is awesome - the bike is s a linear turbotractor now.

Huge thanks to our Bulgarian friend Suhoi27 for sending me the adapter for joining Lectron and VForce 4!

I installed the vforce 4 on my 2015 with my lectron and the engine is amazing now. I should've went vforce 4 long ago... My 300 gets 75 miles easy on the stock tank.
Glad you're enjoying the setup:cheers:

Yesterday was the first real ride on my 2017 te300.
Turbinecore 2 exhaust can, jd jet kit, float height adjustment, looped drain hose are the current adjustments.
Reeds to go in this week.
Went 59.5 miles before hitting reserve on that small 2.6 gallon tank.
Had another guy riding on a new 2017 ktm 300 six days.
He had no mods done. His bike was spilling gas all ride ( could smell it), and he tanked out in the parking lot.
So, not sure how much reserve capacity is, but that was the difference in adjustments.
