• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Big announcement for me - AJP motorcycles

I may not be a good person to be giving advise but, I like the KISS PR4 idea myself. This coming from a guy that just spent 3K more on a Pumpkin . Air/oil cooled, low seat, e-start, kick start, 2 year parts warranty, all good simple to like stuff. Can't wait for ride reports.

Exactly. Simple fun bike. Old school fun meets new tech solution. Their saying is "2 easy 2 ride".

This one is GREAT!! Notice the right side engine cover and its remarkable similarity to the 449/511 Taiwanese motor.....

Not really. The 449/511 has the clutch on the end of the crank and looks quite unique.

You getting a little excited for your PR4 Mike? :D

I meant the way the cover is cast only..... The relief for the brake pedal...

I want a PR4 Extreme and I want it NOW****************************************!

I want a PR4 Extreme and I want it NOW !

The extreme is mostly bling. The money you saved you can bling it the way you like it. The importer did a nice job of picking the right components for our market IMHO. Keeps the cost down and get the good necessary stuff. If you want shiny red footpegs you can get them. We do get the red frames (not the black ones)

The whole idea of ktms 10-12k dirt bikes kind of ticks me off anymore. I have to admit I at first looked at the bike and thought "cheap" then took a second more detailed look. Electric start, factory skid plates, hand guards, translucent tank decent shocks and forks for that price. wow.

...2 year warranty, all switch gear and lights, real brakes, michelin tires, billet rad and gas cap. I also think those are husky / GG wheels. Not a cheap chinese bike, well thought out and 27 years strong. They are really aware of the USA market and waited until they were ready, quick to address feedback and happy to please. Importer is a great guy. He is at the factory now. Seems like a very good setup. The tech info has been great and quite detailed. One word of caution would be to note these are 7/8th sized bikes (which for tight woods will be fantastic) so a better fit for average to smaller pilots, and will not be great for fast open stuff. That said they should be very easy to control in the gnar.

Happy birthday kelly ive seen ajp pr4 in person your right about not quite full sized but for getting the wife riding on a good spec bike and the right price is priceless.
