  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Bigger footpegs?

Old Thread, back to life.

I am tired of knocking my "cardboard" original pegs back in position, + They wear real fast against the tarmac. Options:

Fastway F3

Raptor Titanium
http://www.raptortitanium.com/acatalog/supermoto_footpegs_footrests.html
+Replaceable pegslider attached.

Roc Stompa - Prostomp
http://www.rocstompa.com/prostomp/

I am concidering theese 3 alternatives, but are aiming in on the Roc Stompa or the Raptors.

Anyone here with experience with either one of these?

- Does the raptors have a good durability and are they rigid to sustain some hard impacts?
the sliders underneath are a +

- Roc Stompa (Prostomp) They seem as the most rigid ones, anyone with experience pluss and minuses on this product? Is it possible to attach some kind of sliders underneath? Or have anyone some good tips to protect these against the tarmac, as i am riding supermoto, pushing (over) some limits? :P They are a bit expensive but well worth it if they can sustain some slides through a season

Thanks in advance guys :)

I have got a pair of REIKON titanium footpegs on my SMR, they are at least as big as the Roc Stompas as they measure 6cm wide by just over 8cm.
They can be found on www.reikon.it, great bits of kit and a direct replacement for the standard Husky ones. I paid about £80 for mine from a local Husky dealer:thumbsup:

I've got the Fastways on both my Huskies, the F3's on what is now my SM and the F6's on my TE, both are great pegs. Your feet wont slide around, they are quiet a bit larger than the stockers and they are much stronger than the stock pegs.

Does anyone know if any pegs available raise the level of the footpegs from the stock position.
I know some lower it.... but I am on the shorter side and realized the tank and seat get in my way at low speeds and balencing the bike though tight stuff. My Ktm has a shorter peg to seat distance and was curius if I could do that with the pegs on my husky. (I don't want to shave the seat and the tank would still be there) not a big deal but if I was going to change the pegs anyway....

I see IMS makes some? for the YZ450 and it sounds like they fit with some grinding. But any others?

Maybe I don't see an obvious dounside-?
