• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Bill from Bills Motorcycles Plus-Husqvarna and I are going to host an unofficial Northwest Husqvarna riders 'team' at the WORCS Washougal event August 19-21 (bikes Fri, Sat). If you are planning on riding, PM me or BillF and join us at the race. We would love to see as many Husky riders in as many classes as possible. Whether you are a fast guy or just an interested off-road racer there are classes available.

Hopefully the ZIP-TY Husqvarna team will put on a great show for us in the Pro event on Saturday.

Whether you show up to ride or spectate, stop by and say hi.

Hey guys, this is my first post on Cafe. I am a Husqvarna tifosi and a loyal BMP customer and will be purchasing a WR300 soon. In the meantime, I will proudly campaign my race tested and trust worthy '06 WR/CR250 on Friday, most likely in the 50A or 50B class. As always I will be in my full HVA regalia, AGV Euro Factory Husky helmet, Husky jersey (Blue and yellow with the big "H") Progrip HVA pants, and I will be pitted under my red Husqvarna canopy. I look forward to meeting everyone and helping to represent the unofficial Team Northwest Husqvara.

Ciao! - Bono

I look forward to meeting you and good luck. Hopefully you will come in second in 50A or 50B ... I have riders entered in both those classes ;)

Actually, I am planning on pulling the "holey" and vanishing into the distance from there! But as long as the HVAs are running up front I will be happy!

You guys are making me want to bring out the Wr150 /226 secret weapon.Of course I havent ridden since March.billf

226?? ... really .... or you could ride my 300 and make that big hill at Washougal feel like nothing more than a speed bump. A 226 sounds like something Wally would create :)

So far it is looking like we will have a strong presence in the 50 A and B classes with the BMP Team fielding at least 4 riders.
We are still looking for more riders, especially in other classes....
Only 4 days to race day ************************************************************************************************************************!

The 45 mile poker run yesterday was a great warm up after being offs so long,Im trying to get Mr king to bring up the 30 class on his 2011 Wr250.

Short story is .... We had 5 riders on Friday. Three guys in 50 B including Bill himself on the 144; everyone finished and had a great ride. One younger guy on a WR250. And my 511 in 50A with my brother aboard was working on a pass for 2nd when one of the many rocks flattened the front tire dropping him to 4th due to the lost lap.

We had a great time and a nice turnout. No mechanical failures and our fleet of old school 2 strokes, plus the 511 were all competitive....as a couple of 450 Kawasakis found out, among others.

Full report with pictures coming soon

Went to the race today Zero husky's representing. Casseli tore it up , Brown was leading until he broke off his caliper.
