    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Anyone interested in carbon finer Kevlar rad covers, side panels rear fender parts?
I just got a 99 610 and thinking of doing up NOX Panels again
Used too have. 94 610 and did the sameness I could afford the high priced Nox back then

If there is enough interest I might make up some forms and lay up some panels
I am a pro at this and used to make rear fenders for 1/4 mile drag bikes

Not sure about the coat of a full body kits
Not going to be cheap though
Materials alone cost a good buck
They are not bullet proof but light as a piece of paper

I don't know if anyone is making this kit up
Back in the 90s no one but the factory made them but the bike was about 18k if memory serves me

I tossed my mold out but really thinking seriously about making up new molds if I can sell the odd kit

Give some feed back and let me know if there is any interest in this

I think a lot of people would be interested depending on price....... Since it's not a functional piece of bling sometimes it's hard to justify the price just for looks. Do let us know as you go. At the very least it's always cool to see the things people make for themselves!
 
i will keep any of you interested on this thread.
have to make the molds 1st then will lay up some parts and take photos
 
I am going to start with the 99 maybe
What I want too see is if newer model plastic can be mounted
If this is the case I would just make up newer style molds

I am the only one in town with a husky and have to get to the city and have a look

Maybe one of you guys knows if the rad shrouds and side panels would work?

I personally like the newer style

Would love to see the finished product --I have a Eddie Seel Factory works SM That has all the carbon bits and love the look --as well as the hooligan motor undefined

If you decide to start molding up some carbon panels, I would be very interested, so just let me know if you do, I have a 1999 husky 610 I think they'd look bitchin on!
