My TE449 has also a drag. On a flat stand, the bike will not stay calm without breaking.
Oil (10W40) is about 3/4 of the inspection window.
To find Neutral with running motor is sometimes possible.
Has anyone considered the clutch adjusting by shim like described here:

I think generally a hydraulic clutch is self adjusting - may there be any option that makes the shimming necessary?
