As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.
When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.
Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.
Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.
Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.
Thanks for your patience and support!
I use Honda CRF friction discs with no problem in my 09 TE 450, drive plates will not work though, should be the same as 2010 TE450.I'll bump this topic if I can add same question for 2010 TE450, clutch plates, maybe Honda or Yamaha?

I think you want 08 CRF450, those are what worked for me, I am running a Rekluse but it uses "stock" frictions. That would be, say, a 2009 Honda CRF450, friction clutch plates?
(dang, bikebandit.com does not list having any clutch plates for any CRF 450
I really don't think so.Hmm...would they fit the 11 txc 250?

Since you have to order it anyway why not just order the correct plates from a Husky dealer? I would bet that Halls 217-789-0107, Motoxotica (707) 446-4282, or Bills (503) 585-1153 would have them. Why waste time trying to fit something that may cross fit when you can order the exact replacement just as easily.
In conclusion, if I can save major dollars OR have the knowledge that a part can be sourced locally, it's not a waste of my time to at least do the research to obtain the knowledge.
I'm running Rekluses in both my bikes, last time I ordered Husky clutches they where $200 for a set of discs and plates, I only need the frictions with my clutches. $200 for a set of frictions is robbery IMO. Honda frictions can be had for around $40 like mentioned above and are readily available. I really do try to support Husky dealers the best I can but $160 difference is huge, thats $160 I could buy 7602 stuff with.Since you have to order it anyway why not just order the correct plates from a Husky dealer?
