Always when cold, OK when warm. Don't remember it needing a slight touch of throttle till after I did the eruption AIT spoofer and the GPR single exhaust system very soon after purchase.
I recall noticing the problem more after I did the exhaust and POD Mod. I had be running the bike stock but with the PC5 setup and it was starting pretty well most of the time. Then I did both mods and it got a lot more finicky about starting. I've tried all kinds of settings in the PC5 and nothing has really fixed it. What seems to be most effective is taking out lots of fuel just for startup. I have a crazy setting of like -25 just below idle (cranking speed) to lean it out for start up, and I think often it's still getting too much fuel, or not enough air, which might be more likely. But if you hold the throttle open it doesn't work either.
