  • Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

125-200cc Cr/wr parts on sms

unfortunately the ebay seller seems to not know the bike's brake line specifics, I got this one and it was about 6 inches too long so had to wrap it around like that, I'm changing it back as soon as some more banjos come in the post

could be the brake line for a WR 125 (up to 1993) and all 250s, 300s, 360s
 
I think it did say for wr and not wre, but as a lot of parts are the same I assumed it would be the right length, pretty sure it said for 2000 onwards years though, couple of buyers said they had the same problem with it being too long or too short and I asked for yellow and got sent fluroscent, for the price it was I cba to return it, I'm going to put the standard rubber back on after spraying it bright yellow
 
Still no luck here

Purchased a set of panels for a 2007 cr 125 being told they fitted, rear side panels got and match as does the front mudguard and the rear fits but doesn't have ecu holder

However the red panels do not fit! I assume the cr has a different tank? Anyone help as the shop I got the panels off are searching hard to find some that will fit my bike but I have a feeling they may be specific

If it's the case what other models use the sms 125 tank?
 
Just checked part numbers and the tank matches one from a 2008 cr/wr
So I double checked the side panel part numbers and sure enough the sms 2007 numbers match the 2008 cr numbers

So hopefully I'm on the right lines to get my husky all sorted looks wise 8-)
