  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

125-200cc Cures for low back pain day aftyer riding?

I installed Fastway pegs and they can be lowered or standard height. I have also used Pivot Pegz and they have the same options.

No one has mentioned a good, supportive kidney belt. These days for anything more than play riding around the house I have to wear a good belt.
My fav so far is the EVS Impact, very good lower back support and protection too.

good luck

Thats the first thing I thought also, 'cept I just get a lifting belt from Harbor Freight and cut off the shoulder straps, wear it on the street and dual sporting...

Dos anyone know the size of the oem riser spacers available from husqvarna? They are only $4 so I figure I may try them

Another thread starting with a KDX reference. I feel much better on the WR144 than the KDX at 6-1' and 180lb, these things are not the same. Bar height and or moving them forward helps as well as the foot pegs getting lowered or swapping them side to side helps. Cutting the shoulder off and swapping them moves them down, someone put a how to on this site.
Its a big move off a KDX and I don't plan on going back. I still have not sold it yet.

Let's talk about that KDX? My 15 y/o needs a new scoot.

Yea, my buddy has a both a 220 and 200. I'm faster on the trails on his 200. Though it does lack any bottom end grunt. But the 200 would be perfect for my son.

This will be sold but with you on the left coast shipping will kill a good deal. Thought about transplanting the motor into the Husky like they do to a KX chassis.
It was a few races before the WR144 and I got together but after two seasons I really don't want to change. I raced the KXD twice last year waiting for Husky parts and it was not fun.

Darn. I wasn't sure where you were located. These get snatched up so fast around here.
