• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Custom Graphics

Thanks guys. Just about to put some different graphics on actually!!

Out of curiosity, how much is a full custom decal kit in the US?

cant blame a guy for trying!!! most complete sets here are a couple hundred +/- depending on who makes the kit, includes front and rear fenders graphics, radiator shrouds and fork guard graphics and swingarm graphics, obviously cheaper if you got a basic kit

my last set of radiator shrouds and pre printed number plates were around $125.
I didnt get the complete kit with fender and swingarm stickers tho.

Well our full decal kits retail at £160 which works out about $247 dollars at the current rate plus shipping. If a few of you guys did want some then could do a deal to get em abit cheaper and combine shipping

Just finished sticking on some new rad decals. Decided to go for a design similar to the standard design, just tweaked a bit. Peronally I prefer the simple factory look as opposed to all out flashy decals.

I'll get some better pics outside tommorow if the weather is good!

Nice stuff. I like the idea of getting graphics from a guy who actually owns a Husky. Here, it's almost like, "We don't do lawn mowers."

There are some really sweet graphics in this thread! Do any of you folks that have designed your own have photoshop or illustrator templates per chance?

Can I just add my congratulations to the real quality looking bikes. Guys they look fast just standing still. Well done.
