• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Damper for a 2000 WR250?

letitsnow

Husqvarna
AA Class
I am thinking about buying one but am not sure if it is worth having one for harescrambles/woods riding...

Do you make one for 1 1/8" bars, and if so how much???

How about selling me just the damper and I make my own mounting system???

The money is burning a hole in my pocket...

Please Email me (in my sig below) and we can work this out. i have parts to make it happen. Thanks. Kelly

I bought one of the first dampers that Kelly had made for my 2001 wr250 and beleive me it was worth every penny I paid for it. I was instantly faster and more confident on the trail. I like the under bar mounting(gives me more room when standing) and the fact that it only has one adjustment. Most of the time it is set it and forget it. I also liked the fact that it was a bolt on post instead of welding it.

Thanks. Is your damper for sale?

I have the Motosportz setup on my 07 WR-250 and it's worth every penny. Kelly's been busy out doing alot of R&D, but hopefully he will get back to you. While beer and hookers sound like a good time, I think you will find the a Motosportz damper is a better investment.

He is taking care of me on the damper.

I also asked Kelly about prices for rebuild parts, but I was wasting his time as my compression never seems to go below 192 psi. This thing is tough...
