• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

DASHBOARD BROKEN 3 months waiting for.

It's easily explained really. The TR650 is built almost entirely from BMW parts. BMW have BMW parts. KTM have KTM parts. You can't build a bike with parts you don't have. In fact the best hope of model longevity and parts supply/support for the TR650 would be if Husqvarna sold the right to build it back to BMW, and they put a BMW H650GS © badge on it.

Now that makes sense!!

Now that makes sense!!

wouldn't care if they colored the thing blue and white...leave some red. Call it BMW..any thing..just make em..Dopiest corporate decision ever made by BMW to lose the tr650. This outrageous delay for coded parts is typical of customer service that doesn't give a fig. I would buy the factory in partner ship with all here. Let's make the bigP an offer. He is not going to make any money from try anyway...what has he got to lose???? I know KTM sales...lol!!

Hello Angel, both Fer and me speak spanish very well jejejeje
This bike is great, it's very versatile, not very good at anything, but it conquers hills and cities. The engine is hard and with low maintenance
The only problem could be the support granted by Ktm spain.
But with this price...4690 euros without abs....it's a great value, the same that a 300 kymco scooter
nowadays there isn't any option that gives you pure trail bike cheaper than this
I apologize for my english too

Hey nice to hear from you both.. TERRA 650 is the best investment nowdays.. y will see ..
very glad to know more spaniards on café husky.. fantastic web to Exchange experiences about maintenance and rest of Works..
mi terra it has to be more than 20.000km. no problem, unless the plastic rack..
top speed counter about 180km, you easily could make 150km/h average.. on free highway

My Terra has needed a new Instrument Panel, as the button for scrolling through the different functions stopped working, and a replacement Airbox due to a damaged connection for the engine breather pipe to the Airbox. No Problem !!! Both parts were supplied quickly under warranty through R & D Husky in Emu Plains Australia. Moss had to be used to reset the New Instrument Panel. No Problem !! R & D keeps there Moss up to date. Not difficult by the way for Dealers to do as they just update from the net. What is all the fuss about Moss ??? It works perfectly if you have a Dealer who knows the product and how to use it. Its a great bike !!! Enjoy it.

I'm not still the owner of the strada and suffering the husqvarna service here in Spain. There's a strada with 1500 km in a dealer without the dash board. Three weeks waiting for it and doesn't arrive... Porca miseria¡¡

HEy guys, I have new dashboard installed on TERRA, at the end.. I am glad to see everything goes well. MOSS has been conected and seems has better solve iddle stop.
Very pleased to with SW motech skidplate and crash bars also installed. my Terra has now 15.000km and its running perfectly..
Very glad to with my dealer , perfect service... thanks guiller.

Just hand guards left, next stop.

Hurray!!! Husky's dispatcher has been here too. My dashboard has arrived and the bike is ready to be sold. Some paperwork needs to be done and the next week probably I'll be the happy owner of a "new" strada.

Vas a flipar .. yo cada dia estoy mas contento, gasta menos que un mechero, y anda como una KTM..690 o mas. your new dashboard is giving to you some amazing marks: for instance, more than 185km/h for a single cilinder, mileage about 379km one tank, and so many WHEELIES..
