• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

dont know which chain kit to order :(

MenkZ007

Husqvarna
This is sort of a repost, but my last post got a little off topic :)

anyways ill just repost my question in order to hopefully get a quick answer so i can start ordering the right chain kit :)

So i just became a owner of what i think is a te 610 e remake to a sm 610 s, because it says on my vehicle registration sheet that its a te 610 e, but has all the sm kit on it :)

My question will then be: if this is a te-e to a sm-s remake, do i need to order a chain kit for sm-s or te-e or are they the same?

They are the same. If you're happy with you gearing, the count how many teeth you have on the front (14 or 15 likely ) and same for the rear. You can count the links in the chain too (112, 114, 116, etc...)

many thanks :)

do u know the OEM teeth count for it? got an offer for renthal 15 t front sprocket, JT rear sprocket 45 t. Still looking for the chainm, but i think its 520 x-chain that im looking for ?

15/45 is stock TE gearing. The SM has smaller rear. Stock chain for TE is 116 link. SM is shorter.
