  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

exhaust options for the 09+ TE450

what are the full exhaust options for the 09+ TE450?
Im trying to go single exhaust on my SMR, but cant find much in the way of full exhaust systems.

pics and places in the US that sell this stuff would be a great help.

this has come up- 2008's were kinda looked over by the aftermarket unfortunately- and you'd think 08-10 would have simular pipes- aparently not close enough: http://www.cafehusky.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9415

I have a buddy that needs a pipe for his 2008- (stock non powered up Arrow right now) his options appear Arrow pU exhaust- or Uptight exhaust.

good luck post if you find something different!

thank you very much for the info on the 08 head pipe, you probably saved me quite a headache and a few $$$.
my SMR is an 09 so Im certain an 09-10 TE header will work as my frame says TE, and it looks like the 09 has a bit more options.

well I ordered an 09 TE mid pipe, and Im 99% sure it will fit the 09 SMR header sections.
once I get that and confirm it fits my header I will order an FMF slip on. (most likely the power core 4)
I will be sure to update my findings and share the fix for other guys looking to fit the 09+ TE slip ons.

The mid pipe retails for about $130, however its currently on backorder.
I was told it could be about a month before I get it.
