As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.
When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.
Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.
Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.
Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.
Thanks for your patience and support!
Why? To use an aftermarket set? I think the 630 cans are longer too.i wondered if the 630 dual exhaust would work on it?
Pulled those cir-clips but cannot get the insert out for anything. Tried hooking into the hole and pulling but cannot get it out. Any thoughts from those that have done it? Thanks
I was having the same problem, so I ran the bike a bit to warm everything up, and then they wiggled right out. The fiberglass comes out in one long piece if you carefully get hold of it. Sound is much, much better now.

Would anyone be interested in Screaming Demon pipes? I finally reached them, and they said they quickly sold out the 30 they had made. I have 2 TR's, a friend of mine has 2, and we'd both buy for both bikes. I've asked Chris to talk to his manufacturer of them about building more. If we had interest here it seems it wouldn't be a stretch to get another run done. They did no testing unfortunately. They are out in WA and I'm in Queensland or I'd let them use one of mine to test. Anyone out in WA that might be willing to drop in and have a chat to them? Or maybe I should plan a ride out there.... Hmm. Anyone game for a Brisbane to Perth ride? :-)
I popped in for a chat mid 2014 and they mentioned that another production run was unlikely due to low volumes of bikes built. Their can does not use a bracket on the front relying on the pipe joint for support although their rear bracket is stronger than the clamp GPR use. The single Staintune system does utilise a front mounting.Anyone out in WA that might be willing to drop in and have a chat to them?

What a great idea. I have drilled the rear baffle in both my cans with a 16mm drill which gives a bit of a bark but nothing like an aftermarket exhaust.Hey AzOzRider, if you don't mind or want to keep the standard look, Motorcycle Exhaust Professionals are able to cut, modify and re-tig your cans.
