• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Fastest motocrosser of all time.

Hi all riders. i'm new here but for me the quickest bike of all time is the honda CR500.

Granted that the CR 500 is one of the most brutal motocross bikes of all time but I think that this thread is talking about motocross riders.:D

Razor and I8AKTM
He-he, good one you turds.:D

Ok, understandably lots of Bad Brad fans, and votes for Kent Howerton, the Grossi brothers, Chuck Sun, Travis Preston, Mark Blackwell, Andy Jefferson, Micky Dymond, Malcolm Smith, Dick Burleson, Arlo Englund, Kris Bigelow, and Andy Stacy.... in no particular order.

Wow. 14 Husky racers..... from the late 1960's to 2010? Did we miss anyone?

Make it 15, I mentioned Mike Hartwig.

Is there a website that would identify all the riders supported by Husky? A way to add guys supported by big shops or the aftermarket makers, ( pipes, gear, oil, ect)?

15 total? I don't believe it. More please.

this was probably the second best race i saw last year, seriously. ill see you there this summer with 1 of 2 bikes for sure. id let you bring a vintage HOS for me to chase you around on () if you have 1 left!

1st being myself and another trading places for 2 hours straight. :busted:

that was a great race though, better then anything ive seem bubba and crew put on.

King Richard?

Don't forget Dick Burelson. I think he was National Moto Champion in 1970 before he switched over to enduros and started to crush everyone for eight or ten years. The guy is still fast!

George lived on the rev. limiter and went around corners by sticking his knee out into the wind. How much faster can you go??????

Another Kent Howerton and King Richard vote.

Wasn't there a guy... Mike Guerra? Who remebers him?

Sorry I am not a morning person, I misread the title.
Nick is a great rider though and I am sure he would excel at motocross if he were to exclusively focus on Mx.
