• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Favorite bike.

Get a 360 2 stroke you will love the woods and the desert will be EATEN.
i have grown to really like mine. i didnt really know how to handle it at first, as its a strange motor. i kinda have it figured out now tho and im loving it.

How tall are you? I thought I really wanted a Beta 250rr but when I finally got to sit on one I felt like it was too small to ever get set up for me. I know Cody Webb had no problem and he is close to 6'4".

5'9" with a barely 32" inseem. I seen Cody's bike last year at Enduro Cross. He has bar risers and tall seat foam.

It would have to be my 08 Husky CR WB165 with recluse. Now it's my 15 year old grandson's favorite. Never ever let the grandkids ride you bikes :D.

My favorite is whatever bike I'm riding at the time. Raced my 449 Sunday then grabbed the IT when my honey wasn't looking and took it to fart around. The smile was just as big as the one at the finish when the girl told me I was first overall beginner.

Then when I hit the highway, I'm all in love with my Harley.

Wow... Nice going with the win. So what do rules say as far as number of podiums before moving up?

I think it's three transfers (top threes) and they bump you. I believe I can continue in the same class for the season and then they won't let me sandbag anymore. Only prob is that I got scored c for the national points and am not sure I'll get officially scored as d until the d37 results are posted.

Fun bike '79 husqvarna 390cr, '86 husqvarna 400 WRX, '81 husqvarna 250cr, these were the best.

My dream bike.

A modern 450cc 4 stroke with a 36" max seat height. (still 7" more than my inseam)

It can be done, KTM did it up to 2007. Dirt bikes do not need to be tall to have ground clearance. You just need to design and position the engine in a manner that keeps the seat heigh lower.
