• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

East coast guys are abuzz about silencer on Graham Jarvis' Husky TE300, for the KOM race. Long, thin and small bore, like the Akrapovic that Factory KTM and Husaberg racers have been using. The long and thin design makes for smooth bottom end, high rev out on top and quiet.... Win, win and win!

Hmm now you got me thinking
1st was Gnarley with TurbineCore 2 (1 lb heavier)
maybe now it will by Gnarley with Ti 2

friggan thing is 2.2lbs, light weight far away from Cg is a good thing.

S/A schmess-- saay

I just ordered up a Gnarly and a TC2 (Turbine Core 2) I need an S/A to pass scrutineering for all the AMA events we do. Will keep the OEM set up on reserve in case of FMF damage.

Bill was telling me that when he rode the dealer demo days he thought the 300 was already very low-end oriented (sounded to me like a Gnarly bike) so Im curious to see what a Gnarly pipe does to the thing. I was thinking the TC2 on stock pipe might make it a bit revvier.

I would love to see the actual dim spec on these pipes as well...the P3 and the Eline pipe guards fit OEM and FMF..that tells me that those things are very close to same dims. Perhaps different header area size or longer stinger ends? Or heck maybe the OEM pipe is the exact same as the Gnarly just in thinner gauge metal!! Anyway It's good to maintain a spare exhaust in the 2T spares bin. I see that Jarvis just runs the stock pipe with the long Ti silencer.

Looking carefully the T2 on the picture above is not similar to the T2 listed by FMF. In fact its not similar to any of the ones listed. Factory?

lots of times they use stock fotos of the product not always the exact same as the selected one. But FMF is a fone call away to ask.
