• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Hi Guys

I got my 630 two month ago and I did 800 KM on it.. I just love that bike.. amazing what I can do with it.. well.. its me how try to keep up with the bike
But I have a problem .. Yesterday i took a ride to the bush and everything go well until we decided to head home , so I'm trying to start up the bike and nothing happend .. the fuel pump doesn't make any noise .. everything else is working fine .. after a few phone calls I tried again and suddenly it making the regular BZZZ and she fire up in a second and the N flash once , I'm going tomorrow to the dealer to sort that out but I wonder if anyone else here had the same problem .. I didn't find any information on CH but I'll be happy if someone have information about this issue

Sounds like a little different problem than I had. It does point to the usefulness of a led wired into the fuel pump to indicate power. Power but no running pump tells you bad pump. No power to pump= kill switch? ignition switch? pump relay? loose/bad tip bypass plug? ?? Hopefully you threw a code the dealer can see.

Ok..

I dropped the bike at the dealer and he checked the kill switch , clean it and said he run the bike for 30 minutes and didn't find any problem with it.
Yesterday I road to the city , it took me 45 minuets to get there , I spent about 10 min in the shop and jump one the bike .. trying to start it and AGAIN... the same symptoms ... no noise from the fuel pump and I couldn't start the bike... so I wait little bit more and then she start without no problem at all..
Its something related to the temperature , Its not the sensor problem sins the fan doesn't work when I turn the switch on when she cold
Any ideas ?

You've got a problem that's impossible to diagnose without some testing. First, you need to know if the pump is getting power when you hear no pump noise. If it is getting power you've got a bad pump or loose connection in the fuel tank at the pump. If it's not getting power you have to start working your way upstream. Ignition switch, kill switch, fuel pump relay, etc.

This is the LED I wired into the pump power/ground wires and mounted on top the speedo. Green/red is 12v and the heavy black wire is ground.

Had the same symptoms with one of my 610TE's

Bought a 2 aftermarket pumps from --think it was Cycle works --same as the 690 ktm -- fitted it and that was that -- never gave me a problem again --

Now that I have one as a spare I doubt I will ever need one again ---:)

I wold do it without a second thought but the bike is under warranty so I'm letting them to deal with it
