    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

I don't think anyone has confirmed that an elbow from Zipty or the 2011 OEM Xlite Elbow listed above works in any bike other than it is listed for such as: 08-10 250/310/450/510.

PLEASE CONFIRM IF YOU HAVE SUCCESSFULLY used these parts on a 08-10 250/310/450/510. ... I have not broke mine but the day may come and I don't want to trial and error if I don't have to... THANKS****************************************!:thumbsup:
 
I Purchased the Zipty elbow for my 2011 TE310 and I managed to make it work.
The link below and the description is what I bought. Also, I just posted a review on Zipty to confirm it worked for me.

However, it was a bit of a pain in the ***. I had to fiddle with it and rotate it so I could get the hose to connect to the fitting. When I removed the tank I removed the hose to the injector body. I may have been trying to put is on backwards, I'm not sure. Anyway, after reversing the hose a couple of times and rotating the fitting, it worked fine. The tank slipped on and seated (after the umpteenth time!).
I can confirm it worked for me. I cannot comment on any other model or year.
 
MY11 thats what its made for and yes it fits perfectly..... the MY11 TE310 is on the usable on list. The guys were asking if would fit other models like the older FI bikes.
 
Hi, I know this thread is old, but I just snapped the elbow for my 08 TE 450 and nobody has confirmed the Zipty one works for anything below 11 models. Does anyone know where I can find a replacement as I can't find anything :/

I'm pretty sure you can't get them anymore, so no idea what I'm going to do.
