• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

G.P.R. Brake lever and more - I'm working for you

I like the Idea here but what will trigger the brake light? This past week I bent my brake lever in a deep rut, it pushed it up and bent the brake light switch trigger.

Here I am, sorry for the delay but had not had time to do things. The lever at the end they sent me as a prototype to try to mount. Next week, if I can, mount it and will let you know. If there are problems I'll have to bring the bike to the GPR for further measurements. Anyway here's the first lever with high passage for the brake of the bike!
We will definitely have to mount a switch lever idrostop because with this there will be more space to mount the switch to the stop.

I'm not sure how they'll address that issue but you can always use a pressure switch at the banjo bolt, I'll let you know when I get mine. I can't stand to see the stock brake pedal under the peg.

For the brake light must mount a IDROSTOP .... which among other things should have been the solution already the parent company. And 'the best solution if you do not want to break all at once.

I'll let you know how it is when I receive it and try to learn how to post pictures with the link megatiker75 provided. I'm not in a rush, just posting an update.

Here I am, December 23 (which is also my birthday) I'm going to the GPR to pick up the bike with brake lever FINAL! As soon as the bike I will let you know my impressions;)

Hello everyone, sorry for the wait but I've been on vacation for Christmas. I picked the bike but unfortunately the piece should not be made good again. The bearing bale inside the home and the result is that the lever has too much lateral play. However, the result, once settled this issue, it will be very pleasant and functional. Today I have written to the GPR, appearance information from them and then will update;)

I received the exhaust today but nothing on the brake pedal yet. Just passing on the update and keeping this live!

I got the black single, I can take a picture but right now it's still in the box! Looks good, isn't as light as I thought it would be but I'm sure it's much lighter than the factory dual set up.
