Livin' It Up!
No offense taken. And notice that I didn't reply in Italian. Now that would be something to make you smile!
As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.
When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.
Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.
Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.
Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.
Thanks for your patience and support!
True that! Maybe someone can measure the GPR outer can thickness. If the thickness of the can is enough to support the bracket. It would be possible to cut the stock front bracket off and rivet it to the GPR can.
Hi all,
I just bought a 2nd hand Strada which came with the single GPR exhaust system. Unfortunately it is too noisy, waking up my neighbors... According their website it comes with a db restrictor and removable baffle. This must be missing on mine. Does anybody have a pic of the parts by any chance? Not sure where the baffle would sit?
Installed mine a week ago. Full single system. Looks very well made. Fits very well. You won't feel any difference in weight. Mid range and top end is stronger(seat of the pants ).
There is a bit more bark so I wouldn't grab a hand full next to a black and white!!
It doesn't weigh enough to need a front hanger. Or you can fab your own...
Just got my Terra friday last week, Just looking for possibilities... Single end can looks nice. Seems that it needs a whole new system... Just curious I was watching the you tube video via gpr uk and it seems the header was also replaced.. Any one knows why? seems that it was video and no technical data vs pipe header diameter so i can't really say due to the inside diameter.. Is there someone who can give a definitive dimension of the gpr single exhaust ( more concerned about the headers as I could just cut the original 1 to 2 header to me it a single one if the diameter is the same) vs stock hardware?
I have the complete GPR single can, the header pipe is much lighter than OEM, also the O2 sensor screws into a different plug, as the pipe is freer flowing
To my mind it's not worth the hassle a modifying the original, making it a "mongrel"
Why not fit the complete GPR system, I'm more than satisfied with the results
Have you fitted a powercommander or simmilar, and how does it run?

Would you mind to give me the diameter of the header pipe? is it consistent from block to end can? if not can you measure the diameter for the sections? just want to compare the stock. I would like to know what is the difference.
I am no where near GPR retailers so trying to weigh my options ( brands / full / slip ons )...
Planning to buy this:

Does this come with some kind of baffles? how many kinds? ( Race / Sport? )
2 baffles, one perfect for my use, the second VERY loud
Would you happen to know if all gpr exhausts come with two different baffles? I've purchased 2 furore slip ons and there was only one baffle for each which was just barely louder than the stock, which pushed me to running with no baffles.
The GPR single can with no baffles is like cannon file & triggers all the car alarms as you ride past
Broke the replacement bracket last weekend too. The ride was nothing very technical. I think vibration is doing the damage & that's unavoidable on dirt roads & tracks. This time I've secured the silencer with a sturdy hose clamp and a 3mm thick steel bracket and mounted it to the stock rear mounting bolt hole. Time will tell how it holds up.
