  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Graphics do make a difference

i gotta 07 TC250. it flat rips and rocks. bone stock too. 1st is a little tall for ugly stuff. but for a stock moto bike it does a lot better than most trail bikes twice it's price. had the valving tweaked and that was it. my god, best suspension ever! i'm over the moon stoked with it. goes from crackin' doubles to crackin' rocks with 4 clicks of the dampers. i actually like the gearbox spread. short shift and work the middle and man it just motors along.....broooooop!

ooops- thread jack. my bad.

So what is wrong with the ratios? A 5 speed?

1st was to tall and the rest are all bunched up. So If i gear it to work in the woods (get 1st low enough) it would only do about 45 mph on top. Loved the bike, hated the trans ratios.

Had a 300 kit and a Russ Fletch ported head and would hang with 450's if you really wanted it. Was pretty fast.

Here's mine.

love the dmx shot. kinda like the ferracci which i also like... i like the blending of the lower shroud into the upper.

my graphics are speical factory "sleeper" units from GP Husqvarna, made to look dusty and well knackered. one off, special order....dont ask, cant have any:

The green is a must. Like the rad cover as well. Things to consider for my future purchase....

Thanks guys. I always liked the Ferracci design and found this company called
moto-stylemx.com and they made these for me. I'm very satisfied with the fit, form
and function and they were shipped to my door for about $170. Here's a pic from
the other side.

I'm in a nation currently where 98% of the street riders are in flip flops ... They have no problems with it but I'm sticking with my boots :) (and helmet)

I think it looks clean, and sweet!! The new bikes do not have decals (which is kinda nice) but not many option then!
