• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

I got this response, anyone know what it means :D

Hello!

AYR Tyre Mounting Tool costs 99EUR without tax. Export prices are, when You buy same time 5-9pc. 84EUR for 1pc, 10-19pc. 79EUR for 1pc. and more then 20pc. 74EUR for 1pc.

Best Regards!

I think he means they are 99 ($123) each, 84 ($104) for more than 10, 74 ($94) for 20 or more. Is that what you get out of that?

- I sent an Email back saying how much for 20 shipped to the USA total.

How does this do with a mousse?
I keep watching the viddy and studying it and our mousse expert Welsh crew member has been as well ,we think it can help, but we will still need the irons and some type of "bead buddy" bead holder.
I use the motion pro bead buddy that locks onto the spoke to hold the bead down in a good spot. We are thinking with the mousse, as you know it fights you all the way around and pushes against the bead seat, a tube doesnt do that (even though we always give the tube a little air for forming and rim lock safe seating).
Our conclusion is that it could help but is unnessesary for mousse installs. We use the multi iron Fin method on the euro standard dual hoop/hand operated bead breaker to do mousses.
Also on his youtube channel the mousse question was brought up and says he will add a mousse install viddy eventually..

PS mousses are a little unwieldy at first, but once comfortable with them one will never go back to tubes for enduro/xc.

Hello!

We have different axels for tyre mounting tool. Standard is 20mm with aluminium adapter 25mm. For smaller sizes must change axle. Is it for You important lengt axels. Standard sizes: 15mm axle is 110mm long, 17 mm axle is 10mm long. Axle must be so long, that it must be inside both bearings. We have allso shother pusher for wheels 10-14 inches (standard buller is 16-21 inches) If You need different axels, we can make them.

Best Regards!

so if we can get 20 people in on this it is $94 each unit plus $254 shipping (he quoted me) So it would be about $112 per then shipping to you. Plus add a little for transaction fees depending on the method used. Basically it looks like about $120 per to do a group buy plus shipping to you.

Now can we get 20 takers who will actually send money to make this happen (100% commit)???

Let me know and I'll facilitate this.
