• Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Mine just got here. Ordered the 21st and it arrived 29th. Sure hope it's better than all yours since I paid more :cool:
Got to go to work so I'll use it tomorrow - been waiting til it came to change a tire. It looks just like I expected - decent workmanship - cool idea.
 
Mine came yesterday but I had to sign for it. My daughter went down to get it today and the Communist BITCH at the Post Office wanted to give her a crevice search in order to receive it. If I ever get a look from her I will give her more than a piece of my mind.
Anyway, it may have cost a little more but it sure is nice to have already, if I wasn't so dam busy I would change out mu YZ250 rear. Soon, Soon....
 
WHOA... Simmer, simmer...... haha... So now that we know the lady at the post office is a bitch, how does the tool look?

I do from time to time.. Actually the post office isnt usually the bad one. It's the DMV, however, today, i was in and out in 10 minutes with new year stickers in hand! I did get stuck at the building department trying to submit permits for about 3 hours.... I was cranky as hell about that one!!

No, you just don't understand a small community of 600 residence and we all have to pick up our mail from the post office. (we have all complained to no avail) I have a brother that works for the USPS and they send us ALL of the problem children. See, its better to be a bitch to a small community of 600 than the million down in the flats.
Regardless, I got my tool, it looks great, as reported by the one that have had the time to use it, it worked perfect. Time for another beer. OUT!
 
Yikes, that does suck... Didn't realize there were peeps out there that didn't get their mail delivered in 2012! Well F that B then****************************************!

Thats a relief, glad we just did not buy 34 POS tire changers :>)
