• Husqvarna Motorcycles Made In Sweden - About 1988 and older

  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Anybody know who makes these grips? Looked online at a few places but can't find them. They are oversize, soft and really absorb vibration. Wanting to get some for the other bikes. Thanks in advance, Scott

Thank you very much. Can't wait to try a set on my 10 fins of vibration-500. A good source for them you recommend? Thanks Scott

The blue HDB's look cool. loving that 390?

Paul hooked me up on those....he's the man! Yes, I hate to admit it but I'm looooving this thing. I threw a Core EXP in it....holy cow. Not enough words but then again, you know.

Scott - yes they do wonder for vibes. They have a very "jelly" feel. Not so much like mushy foam grips though. Real good compromise. I've always ordered them from Rocky Mountain ATV. They usually stock them.

Have tried those and other anti-vibe type grips but always end up back with a waffle stye grip. For me it's a matter of I feel planted with a grip that is smaller in size. Small hands maybe? To each his own but I will say that Pro Grip are a great brand. I use nothing but.....

Big bear paws is my problem, 6'2" so nothing fits. Just the larger grip diameter helps me with arm pump.

Husq - if you have big hands then the 737's will be the ticket! They are one of the biggest grips I've tried by far. I have decent sized hands too and they have all but alleviated my arm pump. Something weird happens when I use "regular" sized grips....I just end up giving them the death grip.

The 737's are BEEG! Let me know how they work out.

I'm blind I guess.

Those grips are on my 84-WR250 I bought last fall, just got running. I love them but couldnt figure out who made them. Well today I looked a little harder and finally saw the ProGrip 737 on them. After riding my 82-CR250 with regular waffles last weekend I decided I couldn't live without the 737's on all my bikes. Thanks Scott
