• Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Mike Brown is really fast! And these guys are racing the old ITL Huskies (won a moto on a 125 bike) ...

I'm seeing japanese bikes that die and will not start out there ... My life is so sheltered, I thought it was only Huskies that are hard to start ... Learn something new every day ...

PETCO is gonna be odd in that it's right downtown and there isn't really any parking. It's in the Gaslamp Qtr of San Diego. But, given the theme is Armed Forces appreciation, it's but a few minutes up the road from 32nd Street Naval Station.

Our friend JJ (you guys will know him as EOD Chief Gentry) will sing the National Anthem at PETCO.

last 3 seem out of synch...Santa Clara to New Jersey, then back West. The rest sort of flows.
 
Just cut the cord, no more cable. Will be missing some racing, but YouTube has a lot on. Apple TV looks like it'll be on my list

You need the mini box and then the modern plug to go into the tv and then need the tv be the shape of the new signal. Otherwise cable just gets worse and worse. It must be coming soon first year free...
 
Sorry if it has been discussed here,
How much of this stuff on Fox sports 1 with the live logo in the upper right is really live.
I seem to recall China olympics being many hours old and display the live logo.

A few weeks later, It seems they leave the live up for replays of crashes so their credibility is certainly suspect. I also seem to recall the live up for interviews that likely were done prior.

What percent of the time is commercial or promoting something else? How many of you guys record it and skip around?

Same here. don't miss anything as someone always posts races in youtube. Not is real time but don't care, can watch it when I have free time.
