• Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Heads Up On Televised Racing

Let me just say that a recent article gave dyno HP for all the bikes and the KTM was considerably above the others....450's

Seemed to translate....

What was the issue with Dungey's shock? Was it that air shock?

Yeah, the shock lost air. Looked like a low rider lol. Where did they to the dynos? I want to see :)
 
I just picked up a MX magazine at Barnes and Noble, I think it has a mention on the cover of the test. 56HP for the KTM, 52 for some others. I can't really say if these $$$$$$ bikes you see on SX are comparable but Dungey and Roczen were pretty fast.

Oh lol. I thought you meant that someone got all the pro bikes on the dyno. I misread it
 
8:30-9:00 central time National Arenacross is on Speed network immediately followed by Supercross from San Diego

True, but a bit of bench racing is part of what happens on internet sites.. (I know what the long term solution is, and will hopefully implement it this year).

SX tonight on Speed - San Diego. Starts at 730 Pacific time.

In addition, 630pm on Speed is Arena Cross from Pennsylvania.

Speed 2 online is supposed to be full of extreme enduros, supermoto, and other moto events from all over the world. There is a cost though and I need to find out. Cable will be cancelled. The kids and all my wife's shows are free online and I will have motorcycles :)
 
And just found out I have the BeIN Network, WSB Live from Phillip Island on now also, thank god for DVRs.....................
