• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Heads Up On Televised Racing

Actually the guide says AMA Supercross special from Anaheim at 8:00pm eastern, it's preceded by a special of some kind. There may be a race in there somewhere.

There's a preview show before it. Supercross is essentially every weekend now through May. I think the only break is Easter. I wish the WORCS and GNCCs got similar television coverage. I much prefer watching xc racing.

Bud's Creek is on Fuel TV in 30 min. I know it's a rerun but it makes a good warm up for the enduro X that comes on the X games this afternoon.

Speed2, versus, and Altitude - are any of them relevant anymore?

Cannot seem to find any of them listed for dish network at the moment, and I vaguely recall versus becoming either nbc or cbs..

I have altitude on Comcast. The others, don't think so
Thanks.
This year has been a a drought for televised off road motercycle racing of any kind.
hmmm.... this is what I've found:
2012 outdoor mx (cannot seem to find 2013): NBC Sports Network & Fuel TV
2013 supercross: cannot find any listings even after spending 30 minutes..
F1 (cars) 2013: apparently NBC, and presumably NBC Sports channel.

Anything else of interest on tv?

f1 is on speed usually between 12 am and 6am i think either today or the next race is the end of their season but 100% not sure what channel they will be on next season. i want to say alot of the sx races will be on speed also. i know i never got to see any of the enduro cross races on tv like i was told.

Thanks guys. :)

We are in the middle of getting dish at the moment, it is a bit complicated cause there are multiple dwellings (and users) of it... It could be that an extra $5 or $10/m for the next package up to get Fuel & NBC Sports HD to watch outdoor mx, 1/2 of supercross that isn't shown on speed, F1 (I think), and a few other things might be worth it.

At least that is my best guess based on what I can find at the moment for 2012.
