• Husqvarna Motorcycles Made In Sweden - About 1988 and older

  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Husky Graphics on plastics- finally

I bought up all Husky AU NOS 1983's decals a few years back. well all they had left at that time were four sets of the side panel decals for the 250CR and a right or leftside 250XC decal. No tank decals:banghead:

Hwy, you continually to amaze me!

Keep up the good work.

I need a set of 1981 430 CR air box graphics, got any on your hard drive?

Nope, sorry. As usual- get me a original on/off the plastics and the rest of the CH clan will have access to that sticker.

I need 2 sets of the 82 250CR graphics, 1 set of 84 WR 400 and 1 set of 84 250CR.

Do you have these? If so, how much are they?

I peeled this one off already and stuck it to my tool box. Does this look of sufficient quality to get it done for the XC250? If yes, PM me your info and I will mail it to you.

I can back up Arts quality from the ones he sent me, they are awesome. Thick, shiny and really stick. Yes Art, I have already used them up! Thanks again.

Please put in in for as least three sets of tank protectors - for the 81 82 83 tanks see pic. But also what some for the 79 80 style tanks. Husky 430CR Clear Tank Protectors.jpg

We have them for the 81-83. Don't know which ones are for the 79-80. Will any of the ones I listed suffice? Email me. a.jurado@comcast.net
Just so you know, they do not say Husky Products on the protectors.
