• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Husqvarna
Pro Class
Nick Burson wins first overall at AMA Dist 37 Desert Race Luceren Calif .Race was put on by the Invaders MC. Because it was over 100 degrees the course was only 75 miles and first bike to cross the finish was Team Husky nic on the new 449
I had a great race on my new Zip Ty Racing CR 300 and finished 2nd open mag expert and was told 28th overall .I got a front flat with about 20 miles to go and about 4 guys got past me but lucky for me they were not in my class .The bike ran great and is just so fast compaired to my CR125
About 250 racers started the race The hosting club really had there work cut out for them working so hard in the hot desert sun and the only complains i heard at the finish were about the heat

Nick Burson takes the win at the District 37 Invader’s Desert Scrambles in
Johnson Valley, CA. Not only did Nick have to beat the other racers but the extreme weather 100 degrees plus temperature and choking dust made this a difficult race. Nick holding on to second at the end of the first 32 miles loop. Keeping the pressure on Jacob Argubright staying as close as possible fighting through the choking dust. Nick and his ZipTy prep TXC 511 came into sight of the finish running in the number one position. Nick celebrated his win by pouring a gallon of water over his head trying to cool down. You beat me to it ajaxauto!

Love it. Good to see the 449/511 platform do well. I love it as a trail bike but they seem to struggle with it some for racing. Nice job yourself

It was definitely hot out there and a rough course. Nick flew past me so I moved off the main line waiting for Jake to come by but he never did. Congrats to Nick and Team ZipTy for the 1st place finish. Also good job on the 2nd in class Ajaxauto. Unfortunately I was out of shape for this one and the heat got me pretty bad about half way through the second loop.
