• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Husqvarna and Shayna Texter Win the Meadowlands Mile...

Flat track is awesome, I hope it continues to make a comeback maybe someday we can watch the entire season live like supercross.

I've been watching the races on a 55" Samsung Smart TV. Pretty cool to see the races live.

anybody hear if there will b anybody on a husky this year ??? obviously KTM have deeper pockets . congrats for shayna but sad for us husky fans

No news so far, but I think everyone wants in on the action this year. The new Daytona track setup is a nice change using part of the tri-oval and possibly no jump, so a faster course with a lot more passing opportunity. Coming up mid march!

Here's another link to this 018 Meadowlands race (6:00 mark) and 100% shows how hard-a$$ this young lady is on flattrack... Just starting watching this racing lately and
I gotta say, this girl can ride.

You gotta watch the podium interviews after the race to understand the finish...

This track dirt looks like the FIM MXGP race in Argentina.

WRX, did you watch that entire video and discover yourself or did you or someone else accidentally find you?

Here is another video of Shayne a few yrs back, showing she has history at winning. Without history of winning or most anything, you are probably a flash in the pan or a rookie.

There are a few cool aspects of this flattrack racing, like I guess the winner gets to do a victory lap with a back rider and the checkered flag... Next, they hold out a flag with a number on it for the riders starting at some point showing the number of laps till the finish and the cool part is, with 2 laps to go, they hold up a flag in each hand that are rolled-up tightly. Can't miss that 2 laps remain in the race! And 3rd, you do not need the hole shot to win a race here with passing all over the track.

Ray RAY, I saw the group I was with on the Jumbotron at the race and said I bet were going to be on TV. And we were !
