• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

maybe they sent our Husky bucks to help GM, Chrysler, and Ford.................C'mon......that was a funny one if I say so myself.
Seriously, I am sure they will send them (mine included) and be patient may not suffice for now but what else can one do........they are backed up and I do believe them when they say they are working it.

Joe,

Please call me at 951-491-1819 to discuss your claim.

Please note that the proprer procedure for checking on your 2008 claim is to contact our customer relations number. 866-236-8029.

Scot - seems the contingency money is being received and eventually that issue will be finalized for everyone.

But I have a problem. I really do not want to lose track of the excellent information such as the customer relations number - I need a good description what that phone number is for in the foreseeable future, and under what circumstances people should call it. Or maybe a name/number I can call to get more info?

I'm trying to help both the Husky riders & Husqvarna NA.

I called the number again and got Ryan answered "Husqvarna" - cool!

He said it was a catch all customer service number, and there really is no topic that they could not either help people with or steer them in the correct direction.

This is what I'll put in the corporate section in the "Important Info" section (it was FAQ), remarkably similar to ScottR's first post, the word "motorcycles" is intended to convey to people not to call about their lawnmower or sewing machine. At least I'm assuming that number is for motorcycles only:
Husqvarna Customer Assistance Hotline - Toll Free Number:
1- 866 - 236 - 8029 - 9am to 9pm EST, Monday through Fridays

Use this number if you have any questions regarding Husqvarna motorcycles, they should be able to help in some way.
Customer representatives are eager to help with all their Husqvarna inquires.
Someone let me know if the wording needs to be improved.

Just called the help desk and got a very nice rep named Masana. I was calling to find out how to add a race series to the 2009 Husky Buck contingency program. She directed me to a dealer as a conduit and is also sending me some forms to fill out. I hope we can get our local Arizona series AMRA added to the program. You will then see me buying a 09 Husky real quick like
