  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

125-200cc IMS installed on 125

Looks like the weight is very low on the new tank. Terrific space on the 2 bangers to work with. Looks great.

I have a new black IMS tank that that I'm interested in swapping for a stock 09+ WR125 / 150 tank.

Bought it last week when I got my new TC250, but I don't need that much extra fuel. I think the WR tank will fit my needs.

I can send you my tank and you can swap your stock parts then send me your tank.

Pretty simple. Send me a PM if you're interested.

Did a bunch of miles on the 144 with the IMS tank this weekend. LOVE IT. Works great. Feels like stock and actually carries the fuel lower than stock. Did not even notice it. Did 62 miles (at Gifford) with a little left. Figure I'm good for about 65-70. This tank is near perfect. Had they extended it down a bit more for the 125 and got 3.5 i would be in love. Great tank.

BTW sold another 125 this weekend. buddy from out of town (St Louis) road it for a while, pulled over and said "I'm buying one" third bike I sent him to Halls for. :D

I took my first ride with the new tank this weekend also. As Kelly said, you don't notice it at all. Did 65 miles and had maybe half a gallon left.

The seat is still a pain to get on and off but that is a small price to pay for such a nice tank.
