  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Pirie Performance Products haven't returned my calls or emails. I just need a te450 pipe guard to go with my Paypal withdraw transaction.

Hopefully all is well with them, and they're just busy.

Kind of wondering the same thing. Left at least 3 messages wanting to do a minimum of a $1000 order and no response...

They're super busy. Greg ordered his stuff a while back and it's finally in the mail now! It was like that when I ordered my stuff a year ago.

Speaking for the P3 group, Eric and the boyz have been burning the midnight oil and has been battling the flu the past few weeks and trying to catch up..

But phone calls and emails still should be answered and addressed in a timely manner at any level..

Being in a similar situation and running a small biz / wearing a million hats, sometimes it is tough getting it all to happen regardless of your best intentions. If the economy was stronger us small biz guys could hire people and move forward. Most are cut back to the essentials and do what they can.

Like mentioned above, my header and mid-pipe guards took awhile to make it here but were well worth the wait! Excellent quality and easy to install. Plus, they expedited the delivery by upgrading the shipping to get them here quicker! Pretty cool.

So how many day, weeks or months after ordering did you guys get you parts? Just curious as I ordered a pipe guard a couple of weeks ago.

took only a couple weeks to get mine, they sent me an email saying they would be sending my stuff soon, then I got a ups tracking number

It took me about 1 month to get my mid pipe guard... but worth the wait once I got it on right.

Did you guys get any kind of notice on when they might ship? Three weeks and nothing, not even an estimated date.:excuseme: I dont want to complain about people making great stuff for our beloved Huskies, I'm just tired of the burnt plastic smell from my melting pants.

Placed my order with Eric on June 15th for a 125 FMF guard... called about 4-5 times and no response.. Hope it gets here soon...:banghead:

Straight from the front page of their website. I wouldn't even start wondering until at least 4 weeks if they are willing to post this. And yes I want to quit roasting my pants too :-) I had fine communication with Eric when I placed my order a couple weeks ago.

Due to the current overwhelming popularity of our
products, most items may take up to 3 weeks to ship.
Please understand that we strive to ship your order as quickly as we can. At this time it is best to contact
us via email to check on specific product back log.
Our email address is: epirie@msn.com

Thank you,

Eric Pirie

...old thread. Plan on 4 to 6 weeks to get your stuff, if I remember correctly it took about 5 weeks to get my pipe guard.
