• Husqvarna Motorcycles Made In Sweden - About 1988 and older

  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

I'll be riding my WR 400, and might bring (GULP!) a Maico for back up...I know, I know, Maico -- maico breako -- I've heard it all, believe me. I'd really like to ride the 83 250 WR, but it's outta commission -- waiting for a lower end rebuild. Anyway, hope to see some of you there...

Was thinking about going to the Endurocross oon the 3rd in Columbus...........where is the ISDTRR? Any eb link-age??

Joe

I'll be their.Posted a pic of my ride in the vintage picture thread.Skoalman, sent you a PM

I had a great time at the ISDTRR in Ohio this weekend! Amazing weather, great trails, and great people! There were lots of vintage and post vintage husqvarnas out there in full force:applause:

I hadn't ridden the WR 400 in nearly one year. The bike ran clean & crisp without any glitches; and except for some weepy fork seals, it held up just fine.

My hats off to the Penton family and the Penton Riders group for hosting such a great event!:notworthy:

T,

I didn't really take many pics, but I do have a helmetcam vid of the Day 2 MX race on the grasstrack. Needs a little editing, but I'll post it after I'm done.

Hey Joe, I couldn't get the thumbnails to come up, so you just have click on the links and the pictures should pop up

Carl f'n Cranke! Man I still have the DB magazine where they tested his and Malcolm's bikes along with their mods. I had a Penton 125 SD at the time (leather tool bag for the tank, center stand, all tricked out with SD crap but it still wouldn't shift!) and sooo idolized those cats! Now of course I'm more mature... NOT!

leave it to Skoalman.... I ask for pics and he throws up some Royalty shots.... What's next ..... a shot with Bob Hannah??? Great pics!:cheers::applause:
