Wonder if they would make a scrambler version?
no they want to sell you more stuff to convert it.
As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.
When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.
Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.
Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.
Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.
Thanks for your patience and support!

The new yamaha sr400's look like a lot of fun. I bet they run right out the door too
Yep, they run lean as hell right out the crate.....just like the TR. The only difference is that the SR400 will cost you just as much money, have gobs less power, and is kickstart only.
I rode one this weekend. Fun bike. Right up my lane. However, that price is ridiculous. I'd be more likely to snag an Enfield or a TU250X.
OK I'll bite. Why are you even posting this here? You're not the first TR650 owner who's been unhappy with their bike and told us about it. In fact we've read the same stuff from people who haven't even bought the bike as well. Why are you sorry? Why apologise to us? It makes not an ounce of difference to any of us whether you keep or sell your TR. Are you trying to make us feel bad? There are hundreds of threads in this forum and others dealing with the pros and cons of TR ownership. You're preaching to the converted, or the unconverted, or trying to deconvert, or waiting for someone to reconvert you or just looking for moral support from other people who also want to sell/have sold?
yeah , i love my HUSKY my STRADA is great ...110 years of Husqvarna ! come on guys what do you want ???
It's simple, QUALITY based on a 110 year old reputation !!
If I had the BMW 1200RT I would be really really ticked off. Really you buy a new high tech bike and you have to park the bike and not ride it.
Yup. Calling a bike "bad" is a very relative thing. For those that aren't tracking, R1200RT owners have been told to park their bikes until recall work is done on the rear strut.
