• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

hi all just got a 2011 te630 with 1050 km fitted power up kit and modified the stock exhaust but she is still a little ruff .so i guess the next thing is the jd jetting or is there another option?

Welcome.

I changed the thread title a bit so it did not look like a Wanting to Buy Ad.

Otherwise years from now people will find this via internet search engines, and click on the Contact Us link, offering to sell me a JD tuner... because they think that is the way to reply.
(Yes people actually do those types of things, I get those every month)

Try an Iridium spark plug.

Some bikes benefit little or nothing from an Iridium spark plug, others do benefit to varying extents, whether it be improved gas mileage and or smoother running and or better performance,

I have TE630, SM630 and TE510, all running NGK CR8EIX Iridium spark plugs.
In my case, they all benefited greatly from the improved combustion resulting in improved gas mileage, smoother running and better performance.

Are you NGK sponsored? Sounds like a spark plug ad. Lol In my case the plug helped but the most improvement came from the JD tuner.

Jay, You can find my thread on dyno results. I have a power commander (with excellent results) but in hindsight should have bought the Husky iBeat cable/software first. You can add fuel and pull codes with it. Get something though, these bikes are still very lean after the PU kit.
