    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Now that I got other things sorted, its time to farkle the Strada a little more. For the price, this bike will always be in my garage (or trail). I suppose there will be nothing left to do after these bolt-ons are added. I have the skid plate, new shifter, windscreen , rad guard, GPS, Scout 60's, hand guards, tall fender ....... bla bla bla

My last Enduro at the NEW JERSEY Pinelands 300 saw me flying past KTM 990's and Super Enduro's but not without a little pain. I'm 6'2" and skinny with no butt meat. Standing up in tough sections was like getting out of an easy chair every minute (too Low), the pegs are too high and the bars and seat too low (for my build). I have the same problem with jeans.... lol!

I've been off this forum for a while because of illness but back to make more noise.

I bought the Seat Concepts Tall Gripper/carbon fiber/ red stich seat , Powermadd 2" risers, and the last of the fork guard plastics for a Terra-fied conversion to the ABS equipped Strada.

I just wasn't convinced a 2" riser would fit but after reading ridingdonkey's posts, I'm going for it. At $53 dollars for those risers, I have nothing to lose. If I can't get them on, I'll sell to you guys.

Now I am looking to buy a used G650 GS w/lower kit for my Girlfriend. I prefer a 2012 or newer. Spread the word, Im in PA 18976. Thanks for all your help fellows!
