• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

King of The Moto

I just got back for my secret Testing area.30 mile KOM type loop, I need all the help and practice I can get just to keep Jake in sight. Rode the little 125 since Mr Walt has my 165. Walt says he has a few new tricks in store for the 165 for King of The Moto.

As for next Saturday come on all you guys come on out and give it a try. My son Matt past National # 1 one on a 125 and his wife Amy, 5 time National # 1 are signing up. So is Megan, Jakes girl friend and a few other girls are going to come give it a try. So if these girls are willing to come out and at least try. What is your excuse?

Ok Robert and the San Diego crew come check it out and see if you would want to sign up and race it in Feb.

Just go buy a smaller counter shaft sprocket ,let the air down and ride

I do not know all I know is Mr Walt the MAN said Send me your motor complet with carb Then sit back and wait Because
I want to do something special So stay tuned things are going to happen
Come on Jan I want to start racing again

John,
not going to happen until I reunite with a 2T moto. These 310s are delicate enough, one day there and my 13 would need another rebuild. I hope you can cross that border sometime in 2014 for our special ride.
PS no need to air down I use Mousses as well, the one rear I have in now is at the later stages of life and looks like about 8-10 psi. PPS Jake is little younger and a pro to boot... no worries about keeping him in sight. Just going and fishing is admirable like last year!!!

Robert You should come up for the day to check it out. You do not need to race it just come ride some of the trails. Most of it is like a 3rd loop of the Nationals with a few harder hills. The harder hills are not that they are steep it is they are filled with boulders
that you have to work your way around or over

For all you guys that said you were thinking of coming out on Saturday We have changed to Sunday We will be out there on Sunday testing the rocks

Off Old woman springs road turn off on Boone road we will be on the lake bed boone road is at the east end of Johnson valley
up against the military boundry Jimmy l has been posting pictures of some of the new trails he has found on his web page

It might be faster for you to come thru hemet down toward Palm springs and turn up Hwy 62 to Yucca Valley then over to Boone Road

No the event is right along the boundry line to the 29 Palms Marine Base Plus most of our riding in that area is now going to be off limits as the Marine Base just won a battle with the Offroad people. The Marine base will now expand and take about 1/2 of what is out there

Shut, I totally zoned out and forgot to let anyone who wanted to go that were going on Sunday instead Saturday. We will be off of Boone Road and will get there around 9

I really want drive up, but got corraled for a mid holiday season couples lunch today at a friends casa, keep us updated on when you are going for more testing. We trail ride on Monday in our local zone in east county SD but I am off all next week, so if y'all are doing more keep us informed. And I really want to see JA Nine One One's new machine.

OK we went we rode and we had a great time. Jake and his girlfriend Megan brought along two girls who want to do KOM. Well those 2 girls who have never been out to this area showed up on trails bikes and had no problem showing me how it gets done. Even Megan who rode a Kaw 250F made all the up and down hills. Of course Jake killed it on the Husky TC 450, there was a really long down hill canyon where we were all having some what of a hard time getting down
Well about 1/2 way down, Jake turns around and rides back up to see how we are doing, nice way to make you feel old and slow. Got it all on film along with a bunch more stuff will get it posted soon
Did take a few quick pictures of the Husky TC 450 Also if these 3 girls can come out and try then what is your excuse

John thats FC450.. the all new lingo...F=Fourstroke, C=Cross as in moto, E=Enduro,
T= two stroke and the same follow letters. we all need to get used to it.....riding a 450....wow great for the connecting trails but man in the super gnarly stuff..... wow. PS I know Destry did good last year on his KXF450.... I'd stick to the proven 2T extreme enduro formula,, maybe with a low gearbox with a high 5 and 6th fr the open terrain nsections PPS NICE!!!

Destry rode a 250f last year the first year he rode a 450 But returned the following year with his endurocross 250F

I was really surprise how well Megan did on her 250F and then she tried to say she is still only a B racer.

ONLY 35 Days to go
