• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Leo Vince installed, 05 510TE. Mmmmmmm

HAd 2 chains mate, both were cut with a petrol powered angle grinder. All on CCTV footage... gutting indeed. Still not really sunk in that my pride and joy is being ragged round some field somewhere by a young scrote or stripped into 1,000 parts and shipped all over the world.

That sounds like a professional hit. Probably been planning it for some time. Don't figure it was a punk just wanting a joy ride. Perhaps the video will help. We work, pay taxes and generally contribute to society. Then this happens and you feel so violated! PM me if your beloved Husky is found, or the scumbags who stole it are busted.

Ya keep us posted! Sorry to hear Weeksy. Did you have insurance on it? Damn thieves..

Oh and Oldskool, sorry I totally spaced the pics, Ill snap em today for sure!

Sorry for the delays. I have so much going on Im suprised I havent forgot to breath!

If you look in this pic, there is a bolt behind the frame guard. It should be a longer bolt that goes THRU the frame guard instead. I didn't have a longer bolt or extra shouldered washer that is needed. (Same shouldered washers that're used on the other parts of frame guards, or smaller versions used to bolt on body work)

J.R. the photobucket pics are AWOL. Anyhow, I ordered the frame guards and a flex carbon mudguard from Wave Racing Italy a few weeks ago. Long wait crossing the pond. I'll post up some pics when I get the stuff and put it on. Oh, and Weeksy is driving a Yamaha now. An XT 660, saw some pics on SMJ.
