• Husqvarna Motorcycles Made In Sweden - About 1988 and older

  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Magnificent 7

Thanx Marty

Now I gotta get some other stickers to fill rest up

I do a lot of cruzin, if I see something I'll say something. I didn't see a 80s 250 in the garage what gives!

I only have one that’s 80 and under. That might be down the road......

As a side note: I’ll have to post a pic up. I had DC Plastics do me up a set of 82 side number plates and air box cover in translucent white. Something different for once. They came out sweet!

Cases done for friend of mine in Gun Kote. Stuff goes over J.B. Marine weld great. I use it like bondo. Fills in all nicks gouges etc.... on the 250 and 390 cases where they can crack at rear mounts on chain side. I beef up by filling webs and inside of cases with J.B. Marine weld.

Lil artwork for a friend.

Carb before and after plus artwork I did on his cases.

Hopefully, get my personal 390 fired in next two weeks!

Hmmmm? Apparently I can't post pics of my progress on here and Photobucket wants an enormous fee to continue my account.

Think we dead in water!

390 is done, but I ordered black Magura Lever covers and have to get rid of Fox logo on silencer yet.

While restoring, I ported it, made my own pipe and did my carb mods. Swear this thing feels like a 430 now.

Weeeeeeee Ninety !

Darin,
What rear wheel size is on the 390? I've been talking to Gary, and the wheels are turns, on a possible
420 conversion on my 1980 390 CR.
