• Husqvarna Motorcycles Made In Sweden - About 1988 and older

  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Do you live in Riverside? Malcolm sure has a nice shop and often you can see him in the store just talking to the customers. If I am working in the area I will stop in just to look at all the trick stuff including the old bikes on display, Great to see one of them is yours.

love that '81.

Every Honda shop ive ever been in looked the same.

But Husky shops each have their own soul.

Malcolm needs my dakar bike in the collection. Thank for reminding me to call him.

Great pics.

I've been in that store a couple of times when I've been up in that area and I never realized he had a museum in there. Guess I'll have to make sure I see it next time I'm up that way.:)

I'm close, I live in Moreno Valley just east of Riverside. After I left there I went to another friends private museum annual show and there was a lot more stuff than that and Malcolm even showed up there**************************************** I have pictures of that too. Should I share?????? LOL......

I'm teaching myself to use photobucket so I'm having fun posting these pictures. Here's some teasers.....

Lover the Hodakas. My old man has a couple. I used to race them VMX over here with him and man it absolutely p*sses along. hardly origninal tho haha.
Some nice bikes in the crowd. Unfortunate im on the otherside of the world to all this.

I remember when the first Clew Competition Machine showed up at the local MX track back in 1973. The shop that sold them had a very fast rider (forgot who he was) on it and not only did he win everything, but he was absolutely intimidating for spectators and racers alike, wheelying down the straights, crossing up over jumps, and the sound of the exhaust on the bike....

Hi Stroker
I'm suprised you kept that 430 that clean for all this time must have been used only on sundays.

Does that CCM use the swing arm pivot to adjust the chain tension? Looks like snail adjusters on the pivot

Strokers bikes get used plenty but he is meticulous about keeping them looking good.
Have feather duster, will travel.
