• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Matt Phillips (Enduro Junior – TE310R): “The GP of Argentina has been great for me - it's my second world championship event and I got my first ever win on day one. I'm really pleased about that, and have to say a huge thanks to the team for giving me this opportunity and helping me so much. I made a mess of the Friday night SuperTest and lost 13 seconds when I crashed, but I think that actually helped me. I figured I had nothing to lose on day one and by the end of the second lap I'd caught up to the guys at the front of my class. It was close between three of us, but I managed to win by six seconds, so that was great. The second day was good. The first couple of laps went well but I had a big crash on the going. I kind of flattened off after that and just couldn't really charge back to the guy that won. Again things were really close, but I really enjoyed it. This weekend's been great. I knew what to expect, and really got stuck into the racing. I'm getting on well with the team, I'm just looking forward to the next race in Spain.”

And don't give me any crap .

I'll second this (with all due respect of the cafe) but with the word rebadge ... Marshall Matt Dillion wore a badge ... There are no stinkin' badges on a bike. I'm sick of that word being applied here on every second post by the masses... ...Copycat sounds alot better and closer to reality ...
